Skinopi Lodge, Milos
Overview
Carved into the rocky coastline of Milos, Skinopi Lodge is a minimalist hideaway where architecture and landscape merge seamlessly. Ten stone and glass villas open to sweeping Aegean views, each designed for solitude, simplicity and unfiltered connection to nature. Days unfold between sea swims, long lunches under the pergola, and gold hour stillness over the bay. Sustainability runs quietly through every detail, creating an experience that feels elemental, grounding and distinctly Cycladic.

Location
Perched above a serene bay on Milos's quiet western coast. Skinopi Lodge sits within a protected landscape of rock and sea. The nearest village Adamas, is a 10 minute drive away, while the lodge itself offers complete privacy and panoramic views of the Aegean.
The Journey from the UK
Fly direct into Athens International Airport (ATH) from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and many regional UK airports, with a flight time of around 4 hours. A short connecting flight or a scenic three hour ferry to Milos is required. From the island port, it's a 15 minuted drive to the lodge, best arranged privately for a smooth arrival.
Suites/Villas
Each of the ten lodges is built from local stone and glass, designed by architect Zachos Varfis to blend into the volcanic terrain. Interiors feature Coco-Mat beds, handmade ceramics and organic Apivita bath amenities. Wide terraces open directly to the sea, with outdoor showers and shaded dining areas for quiet meals. Solar power, rainwater systems, and natural ventilation replace excess with intention. Every lodge is self contained, serene and deeply connected to the Aegean landscape.
Food and Restaurants
Dining at Skinopi Lodge follows the island's rhythm, unhurried, seasonal and deeply local. Breakfast is delivered to each veranda with freshly baked bread, island honey and fruit from nearby farms. Private chefs can prepare intimate dinners in your lodge showcasing Milos's organic produce and line-caught fish, paired with Cycladic wines. Guests are also encouraged to explore Milos's tavernas where family run kitchens serve authentic recipes by the water, turning each meal into a quiet celebration of Greek island life.
